Ladakh, the mountainous cold desert of India also called Khapa- chan which means snow land.

It is one of India's youngest Union Territory situated at a height of 3000 ft. Ladakh is known for its culture, monasteries and its picturesque beauty.

The objective of the program is to understand the culture, lifestyle of the people and challenge yourself with the extreme weather and altitude.

  1. Day 1

    Arrive New Delhi and check into the hotel followed by an Orientation of the program.

  2. Day 2

    Catch a morning flight to Leh. As you are approaching Leh, you a breathtaking view of the snowcapped mountains. After arrival, we grab some food and take a good nap which is a crucial part of getting acclimatized. In the evening we go on a short walk.

  3. Day 3

    The group walks up to Leh palace which was in ruins and is now renovated. On the way back, the group visits the Leh market.

  4. Day 4

    After a good breakfast, we drive up to the Hemis monastery and Thiksey monastery and enjoy the scenic mountains with packed lunch. On our way back, we visit the White Lotus School also called as the 3 Idiots School.

  5. Day 5

    After breakfast, we start out long drive to visit Alchi Monastery and Lamayuru. We spend the night at a local homestay in a village called Hemischupachan. This will give you an experience of the local way of living a taste of local food.

  6. Day 6

    After breakfast we head back to Leh and spend the evening in the market.

  7. Day 7

    After breakfast, we leave for Nubra valley via Khardung la- The highest motorable pass in the world. We spend the evening visiting the sand dunes and a ride on double humped camels.

  8. Day 8

    After breakfast we start out long drive to visit the famous Pangong Lake and return to Leh.

  9. Day 9

    We say goodbye to the mountains and leave for New Delhi.
